Pork Binagoongan ( Pork in Shrimp Paste) ^_^



Yesterday, one of my team mate told me that his girlfriend was happy checking on my blogs, then he asked me if I know how to cook "Pork Binagoongan" then suddenly I was challenged.. though I never have the chance before to cook it.. I suddenly said "yes I can! ".. ^_^ I was so glad knowing that someone I haven't  meet yet, appreciated my blogs.. and it inspired me to cook more..  :)  "Pork Binagoongan" this is the first time I'm going to cook it and I am excited! Hoping they will like it.. and everyone who got the chance and time to check on this blog of mine. If you want to try the way I've experimented.. below are the ingredients and instructions. Hope you'll like it! ^_^

Ingredients:

  • Pork Liempo, cubed
  • Garlic, minced
  • Onion, chopped
  • Tomato, chopped
  • Chili, sliced
  • Shrimp paste
  • Vinegar
  • Bay leaves
  • Pepper Corn
  • water
  • salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions:
  • In a pot, pour in water, pork, vinegar and bay leaves and simmer for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
  • Remove the meat from the pot and separate the liquid from it then set aside.
  • In a separate pan, saute garlic, onion and tomato. Add the shrimp paste and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Put the pork in , mix all the ingredients well and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot with more rice. Share it and enjoy! :)
